There are currently 17 medical schools in Canada. To apply to medical school you generally need a 3-4 years of university with high grades, significant extracurricular involvement and, for the majority of these schools, the MCAT. I have provided a comprehensive list of application requirements for each Medical School in Canada (to the best of my ability), but I highly recommend you research each web site and call the school with any questions prior to applying to make sure you have completed the application correctly. The 6 Ontario Schools receive applications centrally through OMSAS , whereas the other schools each have a separate application process. This page was last updated March 2006. All information was taken from each school's official home page. Please see each school's homepage to confirm the information provided.
