The application cycle for medical school starts more than a year before your first class begins. A detailed timeline for each school is available in Canadian Medical Schools.
Mid-July: most applications are available
Work on your application
Choose your references and provide them with an addressed, pre-paid currier envelope
August: Write The MCAT (if not already done from year before)
Mid September to Mid October:
Deadline for Applications. Do not miss these.
Mid March-April: Interviews
May/June: acceptances are mailed out. Wait lists generated. I know of people being accepted into a class up to a few days before the first day of classes.
Aug/Sept: Classes begin
Highschool (4yrs)
University (3-4ys)
Application Cycle (1yr)
